Jay Pitts(born 9 December 1989) is an English professionalrugby leaguefootballer who plays as asecond-roworloose forwardforWakefield Trinityin theBetfred Super League.[3][4]

He previously played for theWakefield Trinity Wildcats,Leeds Rhinos,Hull FCand theBradford Bullsin theSuper League,and theLondon Broncosin theChampionshipand thetop flight.

Pitts signed a contract withLeedsbeginning at the end of the 2009 season.

In March 2012, Pitts signed a2+12-year deal withHull F.C.after they negotiated a deal withLeeds.[citation needed]

Pitts featured in round 11 againstWarringtonto round 15Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.Pitts then played in round 17 againstHull Kingston Roversto round 27London Broncos.In theChallenge Cuphe featured in round 5Catalans Dragonsto the Quarter Final against Warrington.[citation needed]

2015-2015 Season

Pitts signed for Bradford on a permanent basis on a two-year deal. He featured in the pre-season friendlies againstCastlefordandLeeds.

He featured in round 1Leigh Centurionsto round 23Halifax.Pitts played in Qualifier 1Sheffieldto Qualifier 7 Halifax R.L.F.C. Pitts played in the £1 Million Game against Wakefield Trinity. He also featured in theChallenge Cupin round 4Workington Townto round 5 Hull Kingston Rovers.[citation needed]

2016-2016 Season

Pitts featured in the pre-season friendlies againstLeedsandCastleford.

He featured in round 1Featherstone Roversto round 21 rWhitehavenrthen in round 23 against Featherstone. Pitts played in the Championship Shield Game 1 against Whitehaven to the final against Sheffield. Pitts played in theChallenge Cupin the 4th round againstDewsbury.[citation needed]

London Broncos

Pitts signed a two-year deal with London following Bradford's liquidation.[5]

2017-2017 Season

Pitts featured in round 1Swintonto round 7Rochdale.He also played in the Challenge Cup in round 4 against theToronto Wolfpack.

Wakefield Trinity

In 2020, Pitts joinedWakefield Trinityfrom theLondon Broncos.[6] Pitts played 27 games for Wakefield Trinity in theSuper League XXVIIIseason as the club finished bottom of the table and were relegated to theRFL Championshipwhich ended their 24-year stay in the top flight.[7]
