Jaya Oneis a neighbourhoodshopping malllocated at Section 13,Petaling Jaya,Selangor,Malaysia.[1]It is currently split into The Square, The School and Retail Linkway.
History
[edit]Developed and owned by Tetap Tiara Sdn Bhd,[2]Jaya One first opened in 2008, with its Phase 1 Palm Square.[3]
In 2013, Jaya One was expanded with the opening of The School,[4]Malaysia's first child enrichment mall.[5]
In 2018, following the closure of Palm Square (also known as 'The Palm') in March, reopened it as The Square to further the mall.[6]
In 2020, following the closure of its previous anchor tenantCold Storage,the first "hybrid"AEON BIGhypermarket opened in July at The School.[7]
Stores and services

Other stores and services includeGuardian,Ippudo,Apple Samgyupsal, GO Noodle House,Nando's,OldTown White Coffee,Subway restaurant,andStarbucks Coffee.[10]
Jaya One also houses Pop The Arcade, the firstpop-up retail spaceforstartupsof its kind in Malaysia.[11]
PJ Live Arts, Selangor's first independent theatre dedicated to family andcomedy showsis also located here.[12]
Twonon-governmental organizations,Kechara Food Bank and Parents Without Partners (PWP) are also based there.[13][14]
In addition Jaya One also contains various offices and businesses in its buildings, ranging from banks and properties toarchitecture firms.[15]
On Friday evenings, the mall opens one of its floors toroller skating.[16]
Transportation

[edit]The mall is located 10 minutes away from theKJ21Asia Jaya station(opposite Menara Axis), and can be accessed from there via taxi orRapid KL Busto Jaya One.[17]
Bus
[edit]There are multiple buses connecting to Jaya One. From theKJ21Asia Jaya station, takeRapid KLBusT787to Jaya One. FromSS2,take BusT790orPJ02,followed by a ~6 minute walk to Jaya One.[17]
