Jelveti

JelvetiorCelvetîyye Tariqatis aSufiorder that was founded byAziz Mahmud Hudayi.[1]It shares the same spiritual chain as theKhalwati orderand thus there are many similarities between them. The two orders split withZahed Gilani,where the Jelveti order then goes on toHajji Bayram Veliand Aziz Mahmud Hudayi. Aziz Mahmud Hudayi read the first Friday prayer in this mosque on its opening.[2]

The Jelveti order was not as widespread and did not extend much further than the borders of modernTurkeyhaving a number oftekkesin theBalkans.Among the most famous of Jelveti Sheikhs areIsmail Hakki BurseviofBursa,Osman Fazli,and SheikhMustafa Devati.A prominent Jelveti sheikh inOttoman BosniawasMustafa Gaibi.
