John Mamoru Fujioka(June 29, 1925 – December 13, 2018)[1]was an American actor ofJapanesedescent. He was particularly known for performing the role of aJapanese holdout soldierinThe Last Flight of Noah's Ark,Who Finds a Friend Finds a Treasure,andAmerican Ninja.He died in December 2018 at the age of 93.[1][2][3]

Born inOla'a,Hawaii,Fujioka attendedHilo High School,University of Hawaii,andElmhurst College,graduating with a degree in Sociology.[1]

Personal life[edit]

Fujioka, who was openly gay, was survived by his life partner, Gerald Lentes.[1]
