John Gustavus Handcock

John Gustavus Handcock(1720 – 26 February 1766)[1]was an Irish politician.

He was the sixth son ofWilliam Handcockand his wife Susan Warburton, daughter of Richard Warburton.[2]His older brother wasWilliam Handcockand his cousins wereWilliam Handcock, 1st Viscount CastlemaineandRichard Handcock, 2nd Baron Castlemaine.[2]In 1761, Handcock entered theIrish House of Commons,representingBallyshannonuntil his death in 1766.[1]

On 6 August 1755, he married Margaret Caroline Wilson.[2]Their marriage was childless.[2]
