John Jones (bishop)

John Charles Jones(3 May 1904 – 13 October 1956) was theAnglican Bishop of Bangorfrom 1943 until his death.^[1]

Jones was educated at the Grammar School,Carmarthen,Cardiff UniversityandWadham College, Oxford.^[2]He heldcuraciesatLlanelliandAberystwythbefore an 11 years inUgandaas aChurch Mission Society(CMS)missionary.He returned toLlanellias itsvicarin 1945,^[3]his last post before his ordination to theepiscopate.^[4]
