Julio Porter(July 14, 1916 inBuenos Aires– October 24, 1979 inMexico City) was anArgentinescreenwriterandfilm directorknown as one of the most prolific screenwriters and film directors in the history of theCinema of Argentina.
He wrote the scripts for over 100 films between 1942 and his death. He directed 25 films between 1951 and 1979. His 1967 filmScandal in the Familywas entered into the5th Moscow International Film Festival.[1]
