Tomb KV13,located in theValley of the KingsinEgypt,was cut and decorated for the burial of the nobleBayof theNineteenth Dynasty.Anostracapublished in the French Egyptological journalBIFAOin 2000 records that Chancellor Bay was executed by pharaohSiptah.[1]Consequently, Bay was never buried in his tomb. Moreover, no funerary goods were found in the tomb belonging to Bay. It was later reused by two princes of theTwentieth Dynasty,Mentuherkhepsef,a son ofRamesses III,and his nephew,Amenherkhepshef,a son ofRamesses VI.[2]
