Grant Hafley.[3]KYBC has a softoldiesadult standardsradio format.[4]Programming is provided byWestwood One's "America's Best Music"network, with national news updates provided byABC News Radio.

KYBC is powered at 1,000wattsby day. To avoid interference to other stations on1600 AM,at night it reduces power to 46 watts. Thetransmitteris off Route 89A in Cottonwood.[5]It is also heard on 93 wattFM translatorK242BZat 96.3MHz.

History

On December 20, 1964, the station firstsigned onthe air asKVIO.It was originally adaytimer,required to go off the air at night.

In 1966, it was acquired by K-M Broadcasting. The station was assigned theKYBCcall lettersby theFederal Communications Commissionon May 24,1996.[1]
