Kampinos[kamˈpinɔs]is avillageinWarsaw West County,Masovian Voivodeship,in east-central Poland. It is the seat of thegmina(administrative district) calledGmina Kampinos.It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) east ofSochaczewand 38 km (24 mi) west ofWarsaw.

The village lies on the southern edge of theKampinos Forest,which is protected as anational park(Kampinos National Park) and has been designated abiosphere reservebyUNESCO.
