Kango people

TheKango(Bakango), also known as theBatchuaandMbuti-Sua,are anMbutipygmypeople of theIturi forest.They speak aBantulanguage,Bila,apparently in two dialects, northern Sua and southern Kango.

They are in a patron–vassal relationship with several Bantu-speaking peoples, theBila,Budu,Ndaka,Bombo,Liko,andBaali;two Sudanic peoples, theLeseandLuumbi,and the UbangianMayogo.

They may be theWochuapeople described in the 19th century.
