Kepler-25cis an exoplanet orbiting the starKepler-25,located in the constellationLyra.[4]The planet was first detected as a candidate extrasolar planet by theKepler space telescopein 2011.[5]It was confirmed, in 2012, byJason Steffenand collaborators usingtransit-timing variationsobtained by the Kepler Space Telescope.[1]It orbits its parent star at only 0.110 astronomical units away, and at its distance it completes an orbit once every 12.7 days.[1]
