Kevin Anthony Tolar(born January 28, 1971) is a formerMajor League Baseball(MLB)pitcher.He played in parts of three seasons at the major league level for theDetroit TigersandBoston Red Sox.

He was drafted by theChicago White Soxin the 9th round of the1989 amateur draft.[1]Tolar played his first professional season with their Rookie leagueGulf Coast League White Soxin 1989, and his last with the independentAtlantic League'sLong Island Ducksin 2006. He played his last affiliated season in 2005 for the Triple-A affiliates of theArizona Diamondbacks(Tucson Sidewinders) and theToronto Blue Jays(Syracuse SkyChiefs).

After that, Tolar has played for theAragua Tigersclub of theVenezuelan Professional Baseball League(2006–2008), and theLong Island Ducksof theAtlantic League.
