TheKhemchik(Russian:Хемчик;Tuvan:Хемчик,Xemçik) is a river inTuvainRussia,a left tributary of theYenisey.The length of the river is 320 km, the area of itsdrainage basinis 27,000 km2.[1]The Khemchik freezes up in November and remains icebound until late April - early May. Its main tributaries are theAlashandAk-Sugfrom the left, and theBarlykandChadanfrom the right.[2]The townAk-Dovurakis located in the valley of the Khemchik.[2]
