Kierston Wareing(born 7 January 1976[1]) is a British actress. Her first film role was the lead inKen Loach'sIt's a Free World...,followed by a supporting role inAndrea Arnold'sFish Tank– which won theBAFTAaward for ‘Best British Film’ and theJury Prizeat theCannes Film Festival.
Her television roles include miniseriesThe Runaway,The Take,Luther,andThe Shadow Line.She is also known for her roles inEastEnders,Hollyoaks,Rise of the Footsoldierand two roles inThe Billas Faye Wareing.

She starred inKen Loach's filmIt's a Free World...as Angie, an ambitious recruitment agent.[2]Her other credits includeAndrea Arnold'sFish Tank(2009) andMartina Cole'sThe Take.She has been nominated for oneBAFTAaward and threeBritish Independent Film Awards.
She played the character Heather in Channel 4'sTop Boyand joined the cast ofBBCsoap operaEastEndersin 2012, making her first appearance asKirsty Branningon 25 December 2012.[3]She left the show on 9 January 2014.
Wareing played Delilah in the television seriesThe Biblein 2013. Wareing joined the cast ofChannel 4soap operaHollyoaksin 2015 as villainessAshley Davidson[4]with her first episode airing on 7 September 2015. Ashley was killed bythe unknown Gloved Hand Killeras part of a ten-month long storyline which saw the unknown assailant kill various villagers. Her last appearance was aired on 19 October 2015, during the 20th anniversary week of the show.[5]
