Kim Jung-nam(Korean:김정남;Hanja:Kim chính nam;born 28 January 1943) is a South Korean formerfootballplayer and manager.

International career

Kim Jung-nam and his partnerKim Hoare regarded as some of the greatest South Koreancentre-backduos of all time.[3]In 1962, Kim Jung-nam played for theSouth Korean national youth team,and was also selected for theSouth Korea's senior team.He was on the national team until 1973, and had 67 caps including matches in the1970 Asian Gameswhere he won a gold medal.[4]

Managerial career

After his retirement, Kim Jung-nam managed the national team in the1986 FIFA World Cup qualification,and South Korea qualified for theFIFA World Cupfor the first time in 32 years after the1954 FIFA World Cup.In the group stage of the1986 FIFA World Cup,Kim and South Korea lost toArgentinaandItaly,and drew withBulgaria.After the World Cup, he won the1986 Asian Games.

Kim is the manager to win the most games in theK Leaguewith 210 victories.[5]He also has two K League titles.

He is the elder brother of twinsKang-namandSung-nam,who also became national players.
