Kitakata Station(Hỉ nhiều mặt dịch,Kitakata-eki)is a railway station on theBan'etsu West Linein the city ofKitakata,Fukushima Prefecture,Japan, operated byEast Japan Railway Company(JR East).

Kitakata Station has a singleside platformand a singleisland platformconnected to the station building by a footbridge. The station has aMidori no Madoguchistaffed ticket counter.

History[edit]
Kitakata Station opened on January 20, 1904. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon theprivatizationof theJapanese National Railways(JNR) on April 1, 1987.

In fiscal 2017, the station was used by an average of 909 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[1]
