Knockout Cup(sometimes referred to as theKO Cup) is a type of Britishmotorcycle speedwaycompetition, examples of which have run annually since 1929.[1][2][3]
Each tier of British Speedway has its own respective Knockout Cup. The current Knockout Cup competitions are theSGB Premiership Knockout Cup(tier one), theSGB Championship Knockout Cup(tier two) and theNational League Knockout Cup(tier three).[4]
The cups were run in the past under the associated name of the League at the time. For exampleElite League Knockout Cupwhen tier one was the Elite League, aPremier League Knockout Cupwhen tier two was the Premier League and so on.
