Kristoffer Egeberg(born 1974) is a Norwegian editor.

Biography[edit]

Working for the newspaperDagbladet,Egeberg received theSKUP Awardfor 2014, for disclosure of sales of decommissioned naval ships of theRoyal Norwegian Navyto Nigerian paramilitary groups.[1][2]He also received theInternational Reporter’s Journalism Award for the same article series.[3]In 2017 he became editor-in-chief of the newfact-checkingwebsiteFaktisk.no.[4]He had this position until 2023, when he was appointed by theNorwegian Police Security Service(PST) as head of their open source section.[5]
