The24th parallel northis acircle of latitudethat is 24degreesnorthof theEarth'sequatorial plane,about 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of theTropic of Cancer.It is the line which demarcates boundary betweenPakistanandIndiain the general area ofRann of Kutch.It also crossesAfrica,Asia,theIndian Ocean,thePacific Ocean,North America,and theAtlantic Ocean.
At this latitude thesunis visible for 13 hours, 37 minutes during thesummer solsticeand 10 hours, 39 minutes during thewinter solstice.[1]
