Lexi Underwoodis an American actress and singer, best known for her role as Pearl Warren inLittle Fires Everywhere.She also played Athena inWill vs the Future,a comedicscience fictionseries created and executive produced byTim McKeonand Kevin Seccia, and directed byJoe Nussbaum.[1][2]

Career[edit]

Underwood made her professional theatrical debut in November 2013 at age ten, at theFord's TheatreinWashington, D.C.in their acclaimed production ofCharles DickensA Christmas Carolas Want/Urchin Girl.[3]

On December 15, 2014, Underwood performed inMister Magoo's Christmas Carolfor theActors Fund of America's one night only benefit concert, which was directed by Peter Flynn and musically directed byJohn McDaniel.[4][5]In November 2015, Underwood was cast as YoungNalain theDisney Theatrical ProductionsThe Lion King.[6]Underwood performed with the North-American Touring Company from January to August 2015 and covered Broadway in the same role.

On October 14, 2014, Underwood made her television debut on theCBSseriesPerson of Interestin the role of Queen Bee. Underwood went on to appear inCode Blackas Emily Campbell, Dr. Campbell's daughter,Henry Dangeras Narlee,Walk the Prankas Nice Nancy,[7]Raven's Homeas Shannon Reynolds,David S. Pumpkins’ Halloween Special[8]as Paige (voice)[9]animated byBento Box Entertainment;andWill Vs The Futureas Athena,[10]a time traveling, warrior rebel from the future. She has a recurring role onCriminal Mindsas Keeley Mendoza-Smith, Emily Prentiss's stepdaughter. Her role inLittle Fires Everywherewas called "excellent" by theNew York Times,[11]which said, "The scenes between [her mother] Mia and Pearl, both the tender and the angry ones, are the show’s highlights."
