Patrick Ewingwas the first Georgetown Hoyas player selected with the first overall pick in an NBA Draft.

TheGeorgetown Hoyas,representingGeorgetown University,have had 42 players picked in theNBA draft.Two Hoyas were theNBA first overall draft picks:Patrick Ewingin 1985 andAllen Iversonin 1996.Alonzo Mourningwas the second overall pick in the 1992 draft.[1]Other alumni have gone undrafted, but entered the NBA later, such asJaren Jacksonin 1989, andHenry SimsandChris Wrightin 2013.[2][3]
