Liu Fangping(Chinese:Lưu Phương bình) (c.742 inLuoyang– c.779) was aTang dynastypoet.[1]Among twenty-six extant poemsMoonlit Night(Đêm trăng) andSpring Grief(Xuân oán)[2]are among the best known.

TheThree Hundred Tang Poemsis ananthologyof poems from the ChineseTang dynasty(618–907) first compiled in or around the year 1763 bySun Zhu(1722–1778), aQing dynastyera scholar, who was also known as Hengtang Tuishi ( hành đường lui sĩ "Retired Master of Hengtang" ). The inclusion of 2 of Liu Fangping's poems in this popular and best-selling collection of poetry gives proof of this poet's notability.
