Llwyngwril railway stationserves the village ofLlwyngwrilinGwynedd,Wales.The station is an unstaffed halt on theCambrian Coast Railwaywith passenger services toBarmouth,Harlech,Porthmadog,Pwllheli,Tywyn,Aberdovey,MachynllethandShrewsbury.Trainsstop on request.
The former station building is now a private dwelling. Llwyngwril was once a two platformed station with apassing loopand awater crane.Between Llwyngwril station andFairbourne stationisFriogcliff, which has views out to sea.[citation needed]
In 2016, TheWelsh Governmentfunded the installation of reinforced glass fibre 'humps' on the platforms to improve access for wheelchair and pushchair users onto and off trains.[1]
