Loughmacrory (AKAthe lough)(/lɒx.məˈkrɔːri/lokh-mə-KROR-ee;fromIrishLoch Mhic Ruairí,meaning 'MacRuairí's lake')[1]is avillageandtownland(of 1651 acres) inCounty Tyrone,Northern Ireland.The village is situated 8 miles (13 km) east ofOmaghin the historicbaronyofOmagh Eastand thecivil parishofTermonmaguirk.[2]it had a population of 237 in the2001 Census.Loughmacrory has houses, shops, a church and a primary school. There is also an old mill and ancientcairnsnearby.
