TheTrilogiereceived theAndré Cavens Award.His filmLa Raison du plus faiblewas entered into the2006 Cannes Film Festival.[1]His filmOne Night(38 témoins)was nominated for sevenMagritte Awards,winningBest Screenplay.
He also appeared as an actor in the filmMerry Christmas(2005). He is the brother ofRémy Belvauxand Bruno Belvaux.
