Ma Kai(Chinese:Mã khải;pinyin:Mǎ Kǎi;born June 1946 in Shanghai) was one of the fourVice Premiers of China(Fourth-ranked).[1]He was formerly aState CouncilorandSecretary General of the State Councilof China.
Biography[edit]
Ma Kai was born inJinshan,Shanghaiin 1946. He received hisMaster's degreefromRenmin University of Chinain 1982.[2]
His portfolio also includes putting forth Chinese policies with regard toglobal warming.He was a member of the16thand the17th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party,and then a member of the18th.He was elected to18th Politburo of the Chinese Communist Partyin 2012.
In 2003 he was given responsibility for theNational Development and Reform Commission,an organisation which has broad administrative and planning control over theEconomy of China.[3]
In November 2017, Ma Kai was appointed to lead the Financial Stability and Development Commission (FSDC).[4][5][6]
Personal life[edit]
Ma Kai is also known as an accomplished poet.[7][8]
