Malaysian Gujaratisare people of full or partialGujaratidescent who were born in or immigrated toMalaysia.The community arrived to Malaya during 14 century to trade spices withSultanate of Malacca.[1]But, only during the 19th century this community settled in Malaysia.[2]Most of this community work as traders. The Gujaratis were mainly from the ports of Cambay, Kutch andSuratin India and settled in urban part of Malaya likeGeorgetown,Kuala LumpurandIpoh.[1][3]
