Man Runningis a Canadian drama film, directed byGary Burnsand released in 2018.[1]The film starsGord Randas Jim, a medical doctor running amountain marathonwhile wrestling with the ethical complications ofassisted suicideafter an ill teenage girl (Milli Wilkinson) asks for his help ending her life.[2]

Production on the film commenced in 2017, with the film being shot inCalgary,CanmoreandKananaskis,Alberta.[3]

The film premiered in September 2018 at theCinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival,and had its second screening at theCalgary International Film Festivala week later.[4]The film received severalRosie Awardnominations from the Alberta Media Production Industries Association in 2019, including for Best Picture.[5]

The film had its television premiere on August 17, 2019, onCBC Television.[6]
