Mark Healeyis a Britishvideo game developerfromIpswich,Suffolk. Healey started his career making games for theCommodore 64home computer – his first published game wasKGB Super SpyforCodemasters,which led to developing the educationalFun Schoolseries of games forEuropress Software.

Career[edit]

Healey joinedBullfrog Productionsto work withPeter Molyneuxon titles such asMagic CarpetandDungeon Keeper.When Molyneux left Bullfrog to formLionhead Studios,Healey joined him, and worked as a senior artist onBlack & WhiteandFable.Whilst still at Lionhead, he developedRag Doll Kung Fuindependently in his spare time, which was the first third party game to be distributed overSteam-Valve's online distribution system.[1]

In 2006, He co-foundedMedia Moleculewith Kareem Ettouney, David Smith, and Alex Evans.[2]Evans served ascreative directorofLittleBigPlanet,LittleBigPlanet 2andDreams.[3]

In April 2023, Healey announced he would be leaving Media Molecule.[4]
