Mark Robert James Watt(born 29 July 1996) is a Scottishcricketer.[1]He made hisTwenty20 Internationaldebutagainst Irelandon 18 June 2015.[2]He made hisList Adebut in the2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championshipon 31 July 2015 againstNepal.[3]On 5 February 2016 he took his first five-wicket haul in a T20I match, picking up five wickets for 27 runsagainst the Netherlandsin the UAE.[4]He made hisfirst-classdebut in the2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cupon 9 August 2016 against theUnited Arab Emirates.[5]He made hisOne Day International(ODI) debutagainst Hong Kongon 8 September 2016.[6]

In July 2019, he was selected to play for the Edinburgh Rocks in theinaugural editionof theEuro T20 Slamcricket tournament.[7][8]However, the following month the tournament was cancelled.[9]

In September 2019, he was named in Scotland's squad for the2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiertournament in the United Arab Emirates.[10]In May 2021, during the ODI seriesagainst the Netherlands,Watt took his 100th wicket in international cricket for Scotland.[11]In September 2021, Watt was named in Scotland's provisional squad for the2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.[12]

In March 2022, Watt was re-signed byDerbyshire County Cricket Clubto play in the2022 T20 Blastin England.[13]The following month, in the2022 Papua New Guinea Tri-Nation Seriesmatch againstOman,Watt played in his 100th international match for Scotland.[14]

In May 2024, he was named in Scotland’s squad for the2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cuptournament.[15]
