Mats Anders Green(born 6 April 1979) is aSwedishpolitician of theModerate Party.He has beenMember of the Riksdagsince the2014 general election,representing his home constituencyJönköping County.[1]He served asMayor of Jönköpingfrom 2011 to 2014.[2]

In theRiksdag,Green is a member of theCommittee on Civil Affairsand a deputy member of theCommittee on Defence.In May 2015 theGovernmentappointed Green as theRiksdag's only representative to The Swedish Commission for Shoreland Protection and Management, which mission was completed by December 2015.[3]On 10 October 2017, Green was appointed his party's spokesperson on housing,[4]being further promoted to spokesperson on employment and integration in May 2019.[5]

Green was elected member of the national executive board of theModerate Partyat theparty congressin October 2019.[6]
