Matthew Hannam(born September 8, 1981) is aCanadianfilm and television editor and director. He is a two-timeCanadian Screen Awardwinner for editing, winning the award forBest Film Editingat the2nd Canadian Screen Awardsin 2014 for his work on the filmEnemy[1]and the award for Best Editing in a Comedy Series at the3rd Canadian Screen Awardsfor his work on the seriesSensitive Skin,[2]and was aGenie Awardnominee for Best Film Editing at the31st Genie Awardsin 2011 for the filmTrigger.[3]

His other credits include the filmsThis Movie Is Broken,Oliver Sherman,Into the Forest,Enemy,Vox Lux,Antiviral,James White,WildlifeandThe Nest,and the television seriesDoctor*Ology,Michael: Every Day,Less Than Kind,Sensitive SkinandThe OA.

His debut short film as a director,Paseo,was released in 2018 and was named to theToronto International Film Festival's annual year-endCanada's Top Tenlist.[4]
