InBurmese Buddhism,Maung Min Shin(Burmese:မောင်မင်းရှင်[màʊɰ̃mɪ́ɰ̃ʃɪ̀ɰ̃]), also calledShin Byu(ရှင်ဖြူ[ʃɪ̀ɴbjù]), is one of the 37natsin the official Burmese pantheon ofnats.

He is a representation of historical Min Shin, brother ofTaungmagyi(Shin Nyo), both of whom served under King Duttabaung of Prome. According to belief, the king became fearful of the brothers' strength and forced them to fight each other to death.[1]
