Chaudhary Charan Singh University(CCS University), formerlyMeerut University,is a public state university located inMeerut,Uttar Pradesh,India.The university was established in 1965.[1]It was later renamed to its current name afterChaudhary Charan Singh,formerPrime minister of India.[1]The university celebrated its silver jubilee in 1991.
