  • /iː/is a syllabic, palatalizeddental approximant[ð̩ʲ˕ː].This is realization is also found in some dialects ofSwedish.[2][3]
  • Old Norse diphthongs⟨ei⟩and⟨øy⟩are realized as long monophthongs[]and[øː].This is the case in a large part ofSør-Trøndelagin general.[3]
