Michael Fielding(born 23 January 1982) is a Britishcomedianandactor,known for his role asNabooin the British surreal comedyThe Mighty Boosh.Other works include the role of Smooth, the butler, inNoel Fielding's Luxury Comedy,and more recently Benny Turpin in The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin.

[edit]He was born inWestminster,London,England and raised inMitcham,Southwest London.His paternal half-brother isNoel Fielding.
Career
[edit]Michael Fielding appeared on his elder brotherNoel FieldingandJulian Barratt's show,The Mighty Boosh.Michael Fielding is also known for his roles inNoel Fielding's Luxury Comedy.He played the main character Smooth, Noel's purpleanteater-like butler. He also played the minor character Doo Rag.[1]
Noel said in an interview withJonathan Rossthat the abstract name of the show came about from one of Michael'sPortuguesefriends who described his hair as being like a "mighty bush", owing to Michael's curly hairstyle as a child.[2]Michael has since confirmed his brother's story about The Mighty Boosh name, but revealed that his friend was actuallySpanish.
Fielding is 5 ft 2 in (1.57 m).[3]
