Microwave limb sounder

Themicrowave limb sounder(MLS) experiments measure (naturally occurring)microwavethermal emission from the limb (edge) of Earth's upper atmosphere. The data is used to create vertical profiles of atmospheric gases, temperature, pressure, and cloud ice.
