NGC 182is aspiral galaxywith a ring structure, located in theconstellationPisces.It was discovered on December 25, 1790 byWilliam Herschel.[2]

In 2004 atype IIb supernovawas discovered in this galaxy and designatedSN 2004ex.[3]
