NGC 5331is a pair of twointeractingspiral galaxiesin the constellationVirgo.They were discovered byWilliam Herschelon May 13, 1793.[3]
Onesupernova,SN 2020abir (type Ia,mag. 17.3), was discovered in NGC 5331 on 1 December 2020.[4]
