Naghan Rural District(Persian:دهستان ناغان) is inNaghan DistrictofKiar County,Chaharmahal and Bakhtiariprovince,Iran.[3]It is administered from the city ofNaghan.[4]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of theCentral DistrictofArdal County) was 3,286 in 739 households.[5]There were 3,060 inhabitants in 783 households at the following census of 2011,[6]by which time the rural district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Kiar County and transferred to the new Naghan District.[3]The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 2,739 in 813 households. The most populous of its 24 villages wasAdelabad,with 525 people.[2]
