Sheikh(Rabbi)Najah Choheili(Persian:نجاح چحیلی) is an IranianMandaean priestwho currently serves as the head of the Mandaean community in Iran.[1]

Biography[edit]

Najah Choheili was born inAhvaz,Iran into theKuhailia(Persian pronunciation:Choheili) family. His father was GanzibraJabbar Choheili,while his brother isSalah Choheili,[2]who is currently theRishamaof theMandaean community in Australia.[3][4]

He currently serves as the head of theMandaean Council of Ahvazand is the head of the Mandaean community in Iran.[5][6]
