Nation Recordsis arecord labelset up by Kath Canoville andAki Nawazin 1988.

History

The label was set up after major labels declined to release their fusion ofworld musicanddance music,an album calledFuse(1989).[1]Featuring the earliest appearance byTalvin SinghasMahatma T,the label went on to feature the early releases ofAsian Dub Foundation,Transglobal Underground,Fun-Da-Mental,Loop Guru,Hustlers HC,Natacha Atlas,Joi,Swami,TJ RehmiandCharged.[1]
