Nicholas Krall(born November 18, 1977) is an Americanbaseballexecutive. He is the president of baseball operations of theCincinnati RedsofMajor League Baseball.
Krall is fromYork, Pennsylvania.He attendedYork Catholic High School,graduating in 1995, andLouisiana State University(LSU), where he unsuccessfully attempted towalk onto theLSU Tigers baseballteam in 1999.[2][3]After graduating, he worked in an internship for theNew Jersey Cardinalsof theNew York-Penn League,and then joined theOakland Athleticsin 2001, working in the baseball operations department. He joined the Reds in 2003 as an advance scout. He became assistant director of baseball operations in 2008, and was promoted to senior director of baseball operations in 2014 and to assistant general manager in 2015. Krall was promoted to general manager on May 10, 2018.[4][5]On September 29, 2023 Krall was promoted to president of baseball operations.[6]
