Nuegadosis a traditional plate from many different countries in Latin America and many different villages inLa ManchaasValdepeñas,MembrillayLa Solana(Spain). Nuégados are "nothing more than fried dumplings coated with a sweet sugar cane sauce"[1]or honey in La Mancha. To prepare nuégados, onedeep friesa dough made ofcorn flour,baking powder,butter, salt, and water in oil. Acinnamon sugarsyrup is then poured on top of thedumplings.They are often eaten withcoffee.[2]
