TheNyima languagesare a pair of languages ofSudanspoken by theNyimangof theNuba Mountainsthat appear to be most closely related to theEastern Sudanic languages,especially the northern group ofNubian,NaraandTama.

  • Ama(Nyimang) — 160,000 speakers[1]
  • Dinik(Afitti) — 4,000 speakers (2009)[2]

Claude Rilly (2010)[3]includes reconstructions for Proto-Nyima.
