Oded Fehr(Hebrew:עודד פהר;born 23 November 1970) is an Israeli actor based in the United States.[1]He is known for his appearance asArdeth Bayin the 1999 remake ofThe Mummyand its sequelThe Mummy Returns,as well asCarlos OliverainResident Evil: ApocalypseandResident Evil: Extinctionand Todd/Clone Carlos inResident Evil: Retribution,Faris al-Farik inSleeper Cell,Antoine Laconte inDeuce Bigalow: Male GigoloandDeuce Bigalow: European Gigolo,the demonZankouin the TV seriesCharmedand Eli Cohn on the TV seriesV.He also portrayed Eyal Lavin, aMossadagent on the TV seriesCovert Affairs,as well as Beau Bronn on the TV seriesJane by Designand Mossad Deputy Director Ilan Bodnar onNCIS.Additionally he has been the voice of Osiris in theDestiny 2video game since its Curse of Osiris expansion in 2017. Early life
[edit]Fehr was born inTel Aviv,Israel,the son of Gila (née Lachmann), aday caresupervisor, and Uri/Ury Ernst Fehr, aJerusalem-born geophysicist and marketing executive.[2]His parents come from European Jewish families.[3][4]He trained at theBristol Old Vic Theatre SchoolinEnglandafter taking a very brief drama class inFrankfurt,Germany.He served as a sailor in theIsraeli Navyfrom 1989 to 1992[5]and used to work security for the Israeli airlineEl Al.[4]

Fehr's screen appearances have included the 2001–02 NBC seriesUC: Undercover,[6]the 2002–03 CBS seriesPresidio Med,and the 2004 filmResident Evil: Apocalypse(he reprised the role in the sequel,Resident Evil: Extinction). He provided the voice ofDoctor FateinJustice Leagueand its sequelJustice League Unlimited,and played Antoine Laconte, a male prostitute, inRob Schneider's comediesDeuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo[1](1999) andDeuce Bigalow: European Gigolo(2005). He also acted in the American hit supernatural seriesCharmed,where he played the evil demonZankou,the chief villain in that series' seventh season.
Between 2005 and 2006 Fehr playedFarikon theShowtimeseriesSleeper Cell.[1]
From 2010 to 2014 he portrayed a recurring character, Mossad Agent Eyal Levin on the TV seriesCovert Affairs.In 2013, he guest starred in the episode "Shiva"of the 10th season of CBSNCISas an IsraeliMossadassistant director.[citation needed]
Fehr returned to the fifth installment of theResident Evilseries,Resident Evil: Retribution.[1]In 2019, Fehr appeared in the CBS dramaBlood & Treasure,and began an ongoing role as Admiral Vance inStar Trek: Discovery.
Personal life
[edit]Fehr married Rhonda Tollefson, who he met at aLos Angeles Opera,on December 22, 2000. The couple has three children: son Atticus (born 2003) and daughters, Finley (born 2006) and Azelie (born 2010).[7]
