OCT station(simplified Chinese:Hoa Kiều thành trạm;traditional Chinese:Hoa Kiều thành trạm;pinyin:Huáqiáochéng zhàn;Jyutping:Waa4 Kiu4 Sing4 Zaam6), also referred to asOverseas Chinese Town stationin English, and formerly known asHuaqiaocheng station,is astationon Line 1 of theShenzhen Metro.It opened on 28 December 2004. It is locatedundergroundat Shennan Dadao (Chinese:Thâm nam đại đạo), near Shenzhen Bay Hotel (simplified Chinese:Thâm Quyến loan khách sạn lớn;traditional Chinese:Thâm Quyến loan khách sạn lớn),[1]inNanshan District,Shenzhen,China.The station is named afterOverseas Chinese Town(OCT) (simplified Chinese:Hoa Kiều thành;traditional Chinese:Hoa Kiều thành).[2]It is also located close toSplendid China(simplified Chinese:Cẩm tú Trung Hoa;traditional Chinese:Cẩm tú Trung Hoa) andChina Folk Culture Village(Chinese:Dân tộc văn hóa thôn).[3]
