PIA Planetarium, Peshawar
PIA Planetariumis a planetarium based inPeshawar.It was inaugurated on April 2, 2011 by the then Minister of Information,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,Mian Iftikhar Hussain.[1]It is established and worked by thePakistan International Airlines.It is the third planetarium operated by thePIAin Pakistan, the total cost being roughly 900,000$ at the time.[2]
Controversies
[edit]Locals have reported that the planetarium is neglected with most of the rooms being empty, full of cobwebs and the videos that are being used were made in the 1980s.[3]
