As of the censusof 2000, there were 1,040 people and 480 households residing in the neighborhood. Thepopulation densitywas 4,691/mi².The racial makeup of the neighborhood was 89%White,1%African American,0%Native American,4%Asian,4% fromother races,and 2% from two or more races.HispanicorLatinoof any race were 6% of the population.

There were 328 households, out of which 24% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52% weremarried couplesliving together, 1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 8% were non-families. 38% of all households were made up of individuals.

In the neighborhood the population was spread out, with 22% under the age of 18, 13% from 18 to 34, 29% from 35 to 49, 22% from 50 to 64, and 15% who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females, there were 105.5 males.
